Email support@pheromonedating.com and a person will reply, usually within one working day. If someone is in immediate danger, call 999 first.
Delete your account
In the app
- Open Pheromone and go to Settings.
- Scroll to Account actions and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your profile, photos, matches and messages are deleted and you're signed out.
By email
If you can't get into the app, email support@pheromonedating.com from the address you signed in with, with the subject "Delete my account". We'll confirm once it's done, within 30 days and usually much sooner.
Safety and reporting
- Report someone: open their profile or your chat with them, tap the menu, then Report. Choose a reason and add any detail. People review every report.
- Block someone: same menu, Block. They can no longer see you or message you, and they aren't told.
- Something serious (threats, a crime, someone under 18): report it in the app and email support@pheromonedating.com with "Urgent" in the subject. If anyone is in danger, call 999.
Before a first date: meet somewhere public, tell a friend where you'll be, and get yourself there and back.
Questions
Is Pheromone free?
Yes. Matching, messaging and venue perks are free.
Where is Pheromone available?
In the UK, starting with Manchester. It's coming to the App Store and Google Play; join the waitlist to hear when.
How do venue perks work?
Partner venues within about 8 km post their specials and discounts in the app. Show the perk at the venue, and scan the venue's QR code when you arrive to check in. The venue sets the terms of each offer.
Why do you ask for a selfie?
To confirm you look like your profile photos. The selfie is compared once and deleted straight after; we only keep whether it passed.
Can people see exactly where I am?
No. Your profile uses a location rounded to about 1 km. If you choose to share live location with a match before a date, they see your exact spot only when you're within 300 m, and the share ends automatically.
How do I sign in?
With Google or Apple. We don't use passwords.
How do I get a copy of my data?
Email support@pheromonedating.com from the address you signed in with. See the privacy policy for your other rights.
I run a venue. How do I join?
